Leviticus 11:45-47

45 aFor I am the Lord who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God. bYou shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”

46This is the law about beast and bird and every living creature that moves through the waters and every creature that swarms on the ground, 47 cto make a distinction between the unclean and the clean and between the living creature that may be eaten and the living creature that may not be eaten.

Deuteronomy 32:38

38who ate the fat of their sacrifices
and drank the wine of their drink offering?
Let them rise up and help you;
let them be your protection!

Psalms 106:28

28 Then they dyoked themselves to the eBaal of Peor,
and ate sacrifices offered to fthe dead;

Psalms 141:4

4 gDo not let my heart incline to any evil,
to busy myself with wicked deeds
in company with men who hwork iniquity,
and ilet me not eat of their delicacies!

Ezekiel 4:13-14

13And the Lord said, “Thus shall the people of Israel eat jtheir bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.” 14Then I said, kAh, Lord God! Behold, I have never defiled myself.
Hebrew my soul (or throat) has never been made unclean
mFrom my youth up till now I have never eaten nwhat died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has otainted meat come into my mouth.”

Hosea 9:3-4

3They shall not remain in pthe land of the Lord,
but qEphraim shall return to Egypt,
and rthey shall eat unclean food in Assyria.
4 sThey shall not pour drink offerings of wine to the Lord,
tand their sacrifices shall not please him.
It shall be like umournersbread to them;
all who eat of it shall be defiled;
for their bread shall be for their hunger only;
vit shall not come to the house of the Lord.
